The term “Green” is not new to Polly Products; our products were touted as green before being green was popular. Although our country is getting better at recycling, over 70 percent of post-consumer plastic still gets buried in landfills or burned in incinerators. The Polly Parrot, our mascot, originates from the rainforests. Both the parrots and the rainforests face extinction if we do not change the way we treat our world.
Among other items, milk jugs and white buckets are manufactured from polyethylene (HDPE or #2 plastic). We start our molding process by purchasing 100 percent post-consumer recycled plastic material. We add colorant and UV stabilizers to protect the finished products from the sun. For every pound our product weighs, we use approximately eight gallon milk jugs. It takes the about 3,200 milk jugs to produce an 8’ picnic table! This saves tons of plastic from ending up in landfills!

Assembly is a breeze with step-by-step instructions and assembly videos online. The decorative frames found on our Cambridge and Silhouette benches are designed to look like the classic black cast iron but are manufactured with solid plastic.
