REDMOND, WASH.—Alerton has appointed HVAC and building controls industry veteran Dwayne Wright as its new sales director. Wright comes to Honeywell’s Alerton business with 31 years of experience in engineering and sales of technically complex equipment, both domestically and internationally. In his previous position, Wright was a regional sales manager for Honeywell, where he led a sales team serving original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
As the Alerton sales director, Wright will focus on strengthening customer relationships and leading and motivating the sales team. In conjunction with Alerton’s new business leader, Josh Cales, Wright will pursue ways to further help support and grow business for Alerton dealers, including helping them increase sales with the Alerton Ascent building management system introduced in 2014.
Wright notes that what excites him the most about taking on this position is the opportunity to work with Alerton’s “excellent customer base, which is serviced by some of the best sales people in the industry.” His philosophy as a sales leader is to provide a sales team with “different perspectives on how to succeed in sales, especially by helping them to learn from other people’s experiences.”
