gflsept888NEW YORK—GFL Skincare’s The Rerum Natura is the first bath amenity collection to achieve COSMOS Organic Certification. GFL Skincare, Europe’s premier hospitality amenity company, has long been known for its eco-certified collections. With the launch of The Rerum Natura, hoteliers now have the ability to provide guests with the highest level organic product available on the market.

Named after the famed 1st century BC poem by Titus Lucretius Carus, The Rerum Natura is inspired by authentic preparations and is developed with respect for traditional apothecary formulations and ingredients. Each product is vegan friendly and 100 percent free of parabens, SLS-SLES, silicones, synthetic fragrance and dyes, and GMOs.

Scented with 100 percent essential oils distilled from aromatic plants, the collection includes the clean fragrance of lemongrass, verbena, rosemary, vetiver, sage, lavender and orange.

More Proof of Commitment to Ethical Production Practices

“With the development of The Rerum Natura, we are reaffirming GFL’s commitment to innovation and environmentally ethical production practices,” says Guido Bonadonna, CEO of GFL Skincare. “We were honored to work with COSMOS Organic to develop the first ever hair and body care collection to achieve the strict standards for raw materials, formulation and packaging set out by the leading certification boards throughout Europe. We are even more pleased to be able to offer this caliber product within the hospitality sector, where increasingly guests have the expectation of finding quality product that not only looks and feels luxurious, but is pure and created with respect to the environment and to maintaining personal health and well-being.”

In addition to achieving COSMOS Organic Certification, the collection has also been efficacy tested, showing that the body cream increases hydration by 41.1 percent after two hours, and that skin remains 17.3 percent more moisturized 24 hours after application. “This is due to a high concentration of intensely moisturizing organic shea butter and aloe vera, while omitting silicones, which give the impression of moisture, but are dehydrating to the skin over time,” says Bonadonna.

The Rerum Natura collection includes body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body cream, intimate wash, liquid hand soap, combined hair and body wash, three bar soap sizes, matching accessories and dispensers, and VIP or turndown amenities of deluxe hand cream, face cream and foot & leg relief, all currently available.
