SAN FRANCISCO—For the 14th consecutive year Green Festival Expo is returning to San Francisco. This year’s version will be held the weekend of November 13th through the 15th, but this year the Expo will be held at Daly City’s Cow Palace. This larger venue is a confirmation of the growth of Green Festivals as well as the commitment of the Festival’s planners to bring green, sustainable products and practices to new audiences. This all vegan and vegetarian Expo is expected to attract more than 25,000 locals to the three day event.

“This is an exciting time for Green Festival as we celebrate our 14th anniversary in San Francisco, where we first got started,” says President of Green Festivals, Inc., Dr. Corinna Basler. “There is a lot of momentum in the sustainability movement and Green Festival is proud to be a leader in promoting sustainable production and consumption everywhere we go. Green Festival will be the first event at Cow Palace to be entirely vegan and vegetarian and we hope this can encourage more environmentally friendly food options at future events.”

More than 250 sustainability-focused exhibitors, organizations, sponsors, and media will be present across more than 30 categories and subcategories—organizations such as 1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort and Spa, Blue Gold for Life, CompoKeeper, Cono Sur Vineyards and Winery, and Hotel Bamboo Comfort.

Plus, Green Festival will be introducing the San Francisco Local Marketplace, a new way for San Francisco locals to connect with and empower local exhibitors. Additionally, the Cow Palace will be following the green initiative movement per city regulations and recycling all bottles, plastics, etc. in an effort to help make the San Francisco Green Festival Expo a 99 percent zero waste event along with all other Expo events throughout the year.

Green Festival San Francisco 2015 also boasts an impressive lineup of sustainability speakers this year including: Gil Friend, Jeanine Cotter, and Vince Siciliano.

Limited booth space is still available. More information on exhibiting and attending can be found at: http://greenfestivals.org/.
