NEW YORK—Hospitality Design (HD) magazine has launched HD Select, a brand new event that brings buyers and sellers together to discuss the most current projects and products in the hospitality design realm. The new series will officially launch at Motif Seattle on April 3 to 5, 2016, with a focus on sustainability and best practices. A fall event will be held in Charleston, S.C., discussing luxury design trends.

HD Select allows guests to enhance their business by connecting with key buyers and suppliers in products and design. The event will feature representatives from a diverse range of product categories, including accessories, artwork, bath and spa, bedding and beds, fabrics, flooring, furniture, hardware, lighting, outdoor accessories, outdoor furniture, seating, tile and stone, wall coverings, and window treatments.

“HD’s mission is to be the ultimate connector for the hospitality design industry,” says Stacy Shoemaker Rauen, Editor-in-Chief, Hospitality Design magazine. “These HD Select events are all about creating relationships between buyers and sellers that have a lasting impact on product and project decisions.”

Buyer-Supplier Meetings

Both event schedules will boast an opening evening cocktail reception, special guest speakers and panels, one-on-one buyer-supplier meetings, and a myriad of key networking opportunities, including breakfast, lunch, and seated dinners.

Besides meetings with supplier sponsors to discuss current product needs and trends, the interactive delegate experience (which includes three nights of hotel accommodations) promises networking opportunities and relationship building with key contacts in the industry, as well as inspirational and informational takeaways from the top-notch speakers.

The supplier/sponsor experience includes 20 appointments during the event with individual buyers, co-exclusive product category representation with another company, networking time and introductions to some 90 delegates, and the opportunity to nominate a delegate for attendance.
