RIPON, WIS.—IPSO introduces the Cygnus Ultra Pro control system on washer-extractors for on-premises laundry managers. Cygnus Ultra Pro builds on the features of Cygnus Ultra.

“The Cygnus Ultra Pro control system allows on-premises laundry managers to have complete control of their equipment,” said Kathryn Rowen, North American Sales Manager for IPSO. “With increased usability and flexibility, Ultra Pro gives laundry managers the tools they need to easily achieve peak efficiency.”

The new Cygnus Ultra Pro control includes 10 optimized wash program options, allowing for 60 customizable wash cycles to meet the needs of any on-premises laundry room. Extra wash functions, such as pre-defined start, ECO cycles and rapid advance soak, are also available to increase productivity.

Accessible Via Laptop Computer

With the intuitive control, operators can maintain efficient laundry operations by modifying all parameters of the wash program—temperature, time, water level and speed—at any time, even while the machine is running. Infrared connectivity further increases flexibility by giving managers the ability to manage operations and program cycles from a laptop computer.

A large LCD screen with universal symbols provides in-depth wash data and program titles that can be translated into any language, making it easy for anyone to use. Downtime is decreased with complete history logs and helpful service reminders to avoid issues from developing through preventive maintenance. However, if an issue does arise, the Extensive Help feature can provide a comprehensive error message to explain the problem and quickly solve the issue.

Cygnus Ultra Pro control system also offers the patented water-saving SmartWAVe water-absorption verification technology. SmartWAVe automatically senses the load’s water absorption level and adjusts water and detergent use accordingly at each stage of the wash cycle. This technology reduces water, chemical and utility use without compromising wash quality.
