CARTHAGE, MO.—Leggett & Platt Smart Products will introduce Helios wireless charging, Helios Time and LPSense Illuminate at the 2015 Hospitality Design Expo and Conference being held May 13 to 15 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Helios, Helios Time and LPSense Illuminate are designed to transform ordinary living and working spaces into modern, connected environments. These innovative solutions are three products in the company’s LP Smart Suite package, with additional products set to roll out later this year.

“Leggett & Platt has been a leader in the hospitality industry for more than 130 years, and we are excited to continue our partnership with industry leaders from across the globe as we launch LP Smart Suite,” said Jason Turner, General Manager of LP Smart Products. “We’ve seen significant demand from both our customers and end consumers, and we look forward to bringing connectivity and forward-thinking technology to hospitality.”

Qi-Enabled Inductive Power

Helios is an award-winning, wireless charging technology that easily integrates into virtually any surface, offering convenience at home, at work and in public areas, such as hotels, airports, medical facilities and schools. Helios uses Qi-enabled inductive power, the world’s leading wireless charging standard utilized by more than 50 million people worldwide.

Helios Time is the first alarm clock to offer Qi wireless charging technology, Bluetooth streaming, Wi-Fi connectivity and a carbon monoxide detector. This all-in-one smart clock also features remote time sync, ensuring the accuracy of time and alarms without having to individually set each clock. Helios Time is specifically designed to help hotels and resorts cut costs and increase efficiency.

LPSense Illuminate is a lighting system that provides a soft glow upon sensing a guest’s presence. Illuminate lighting kits easily integrate into a variety of furniture, including beds, nightstands and dressers. The product was developed to help guests navigate dark rooms, decreasing the likelihood of bumping into furniture and tripping over personal items.
