NEW ORLEANS—At the 2013 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), Panasonic Eco Products Division introduced the WhisperRecessed LED, providing builders, remodelers and architects with an efficient ventilation option, complete with an elegant design. Available starting August 2013, the WhisperRecessed will be offered with a 10W LED lamp.
The WhisperRecessed LED incorporates an Energy Star certified down light into a powerful 80 CFM fan that exhausts indoor pollutants, allergens, and moisture from the air using only 20.5W. The adjustable recessed LED bulb helps minimize glare, and LED bulbs in general use about 75 percent less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs and last at least 35 times longer. Operating at quiet noise levels as low as 0.7 sones at .25” w.g. static pressure, the WhisperRecessed LED is among the industry’s quietest and most efficient Energy Star certified recessed fans with an LED light.
The architectural-grade, WhisperRecessed LED includes Panasonic’s dual duct adapter which gives the contractor the ability to install it in a 4” or 6” duct without having to purchase an additional adapter. Whisper Recessed LED is UL listed for tub/shower enclosure when used with a GFCI branch circuit. Additionally, UL labeled WhisperRecessed LED is IC-rated, a label that indicates to professionals that the lighting fixture can be installed with direct contact with insulation.
