EL SEGUNDO, CALIF.—RENSON, a European developer and manufacturer of sun shading and ventilation system solutions, introduces its line of Camargue, Algarve and Lagune patio structures to the North American market. These structures, which can either be affixed to the exterior of a residence or commercial building, or constructed as free-standing entities, broaden the usable space of a home or building by moderating outdoor weather conditions. Tempering the sun’s effects to maintain comfortable occupancy of patios and other outdoor spaces even in the hottest hours of the day and months of the year, RENSON’s patio structures additionally provide precipitation protection in damp or wet conditions.

Offering both sun protection and a waterproof roof system with 150-degree rotating aluminum louvers, RENSON’s Camargue and Algarve patio structures provide versatility and reliability for outdoor patio weather management. The structures, available in stand-alone (four columns), outside wall-affixed (two columns) or built-in (without columns) configurations, feature roof louvers that are engineered to guide precipitation downward and away from occupied areas.

The Algarve design, offered up to a size of 13-ft. (width) by 20-ft. (length) with a maximum 260-sq. ft. single-piece surface span, additionally incorporates a gutter system that drains water away from the roof louvers. Available with the same dimensions available in the Algarve design, the Camargue design also includes a double gutter system and concealed guide water channels that perform optimally even in severe weather conditions. The Camargue design can also accommodate RENSON’s wind-resistant motorized ZipShade screens, Loggia sliding panels (with optional movable louvers for additional privacy) or glass sliding doors to provide further weather resistance and occupant comfort. Loggiawood wooden louvers are available for a more customized look.

Can Be Configured with Lighting, Heating Elements

Both the Algarve and Camargue structures can be additionally configured with lighting and heating elements, as well as audio equipment to provide maximum outdoor patio enjoyment in both residential and commercial applications.

Featuring patented aluminum construction and wind-tight, watertight, light-penetrating sun shade that can be opened or closed, RENSON’s Lagune system provides the latest in weather management and sun shading for outdoor patio applications. Lagune employs innovative ZipShade technology combined with industry leading fabric tension to deliver notable wind-resistance in any position on the aluminum-frame structure. Moisture is automatically drained away from the ZipShade fabric and through concealed guide water channels, even when the shade is not fully extended.

The Lagune system can additionally accommodate Loggia sliding panels with Loggiascreen 4Fix fabric to provide further enclosure, weather resistance and occupant comfort. Loggiawood wooden louvers are also available for a more customized look. Additional lighting, heating and sound systems can be integrated into the aluminium roof framing profiles of the Lagune system. (See also seamless aluminum guttering.)
